We stock the largest range of quality binoculars, monoculars and spotting scopes for birders in the UK. These include many leading brands: Barr & Stroud, Bresser, Bushnell, Celestron, Hawke, Helios, Hilkinson, Kite, Kowa, Leica, Leofoto, Opticron, Swarovski, Vanguard, Viking, Vortex and Zeiss. We also stock a large range of birding books and DVDs together with tripods, Country Innovation clothing, Tilley Hats and accessories. The majority of items featured on our website and many more are available in store but please telephone or email to check on specific availability if making a special journey.

Part-exchange

We accept good quality optical equipment (no cameras) in part-exchange but please notify us before travelling to ensure a specialist member of staff is present to evaluate the items you wish to part-exchange.

Location and directions

Our store is located around one mile west of Worcester City Centre in the small shopping arcade on the south side of St John’s Church where we have excellent viewing facilities for testing optical equipment. Open Tuesdays to Saturdays 9.30am to 4.30pm.

If arriving from the south or north via the M5 leave at junction 7 (Worcester South) and follow signs to Worcester and at the first roundabout take the first exit for 'Worcester West'. Continue over the next two roundabouts and at the third roundabout take the 3rd exit (A449 northbound), again signed 'Worcester West'. Continue over the bridge (with chimney on left) to the next roundabout and take 2nd exit (Worcester West B4206) and continue to first set of traffic lights and turn right to Sainsbury's where up to 2 hours free parking is available. The car park is accessed via Swanpool Walk (adjacent to the AV Band Funeral Directors building and opposite the car showroom). The Birders Store is just a five minute walk away.
