Opticron 42mm Roof Prism Cordura and Leather Binocular Case

This is the case supplied with my 8x42 DBA VHD Opticron binoculars. In my view it is on the small side for the intended use, does not come with a carry strap though there are two small loops inside the case where one could be presumably fastened. Due to having no strap and the casing being made of cordura / leather I find it quite slippery to catch hold of and I have 'dropped the case with the bins inside on numerous occasions. Finally, as the case is on the small side, the leather clasp on the lid does not work as the button over which it hooks is not long enough or shaped recessed deep enough to stop the lid opening. Poor design, I am looking at buying the bigger semi rigid case as a replacement.
