Naturalist and Lesbos enthusiast Malcolm Rymer has visited the island on several occasions over the past few springs to savour its easy-going life-style, its people, its wild places, the magnificence of its flora and to witness its impressive annual passage of birds.
This spring, visiting the island with botanising friends, he documents some of the highlights in two Lesbos journals.
The first Orioles & Orchids recalls events and experiences from the third week of April. The second Peonies & Pratincoles illustrates the last week of the month.
These two one-hour journals, originally released on VHS, have been formatted to produce this 2 hour long DVD.
